It should be in your manual.... but if you don't have one, I'm gonna try this out. I don't know the official names, so bear with me.

bobbin case is disassembled. how do I put it back - 0e32874.jpg

There should be two plastic arm-lookin things that are turnable. Make sure these are turned outwards.

You should have three silver pieces. The one you need first is a half-moon looking thing with a knob comin bobbin case is disassembled. how do I put it back - 1b56518.jpgmiddle. (it also has some holes in it)

If you turbobbin case is disassembled. how do I put it back - 9f56fa0.jpgnob on the right hand side, there should be a moving piece on the inside of the bobbin case.

The half moon needs to fit in with that piece. Dbobbin case is disassembled. how do I put it back - 4c32e5e.jpganything cause we don't want the machine to break. >< The knob thing needs to be facing the outside, otherwise it's not gonna go in at all.

It needs to be positioned so thbobbin case is disassembled. how do I put it back - 297f9a7.jpgch (on the inside of the circle) is up and the pokey-outie piece (on the outer side of the circle) is on the bottom. On your machine, there should be a place where the pokey-outie piece wbobbin case is disassembled. how do I put it back - bb79c5d.jpgrfectly into a little hole-type-thing. Put it in. :O

Now it's time to move those little black plastic arms towards the center. On your circle, there should be little grooves that they fit right on top of. ^_^

The only silver piece left shouldbobbin case is disassembled. how do I put it back - f756bb2.jpgual bobbin case deal. This should be a smaller circle with a movable arm and a silver thing pokin' out of it. (I told you, I'm bad at names!) Before you put this guy in, we need to have your plastic bobbin threaded. (I'm assuming this has already been done, correct me if I'm wrong.... they also have pre-threaded bobbins for sale, but hey, whatever works.)

Your bobbin neebobbin case is disassembled. how do I put it back - 5ec5f6a.jpgnside this last piece. (my first bobbin didn't, and I freaked out and ran to my dad... LOL) You need to make sure there is a trail of thread coming out of your bobbin that's about two to three inches long. Place your bobbin in the silver guy and there /should/ be a little niche where you bobbin case is disassembled. how do I put it back - ed83178.jpgth the thread and pull it through the silver guy's parts. (Your thread may break, don't worry, just try again)

When you move the thread around, it should come out where the little arm that sticks out is.bobbin case is disassembled. how do I put it back - a3c219b.jpg-3 inch trail goin' on, you'll need it. Remember that first half-moon silver guy? Well, we're gonna stick our little assembly onto his pokey-outie piece.

The silver arm-thing on our assembly needs to go into the knotch that's in our circle, and push in so it clicks. (Sometimes mine clicks twice...) Make sure you have that trail of thread, and go ahead and flip the white plastic up,bobbin case is disassembled. how do I put it back - 549cb5e.jpgu're DONE assembling it.

I'm going to assume you have your top thread in already (again, correct me if I'm wrong..) make sure that your top thread is through the hole in the needle, othebobbin case is disassembled. how do I put it back - 716685d.jpg thoroughly screwed. Pull that thread until you have another 2-3 inch tail, and twist the big white knob on the right side of your machine (same one as before...) TOWARDS you. KEEP HOLDING your top thread, otherwise it'll disappear into the abyss that is your bobbin assembly.

Wbobbin case is disassembled. how do I put it back - 2b8b82f.jpgn the knob towards you, your needle should dip down into the abyss and come back up- with your bottom thread! HUZZAH! it SHOULD be a loop around your top thread. (I'd use contrasting colors for practice.. so you know what it'll look like)

The manual says to "grab the bottom thread" but seriously, I can't get me fingers down in there, so I just slide some scissors under the foot and between the two sides of the loop, and just slide 'em left. usually works just fine. Unless my tail for the bottom thread is too short, cause then it'll be hard to grab. You should be good to go!

I know this is pic heavy and kind of long, but I like to provide as much info as possible! Let me know if it helped!!

Thanks for the help and bringing the instruction down to my level!.......I relate to words like 'sticky out thingy' and 'pokey thingy'......whatever, IT WORKED.....THANKS! -Laurie in Seattle

Thank you SO much iamtyping! I have a Kenmore but this worked great for me!! The proper names for the parts, just to make things clearer, is hook (crescent-shaped thing), latch lever (the part with the lever) and the bobbin (that thingamabob with the thread).

This is the best description of a bobbin threader i have ever read. I know my machine needs to have a good cleaning but did not want to take the bobbin parts apart so tedious to replace back in the proper positions. I think I will give it go.

My machine was giving me trouble last night and I went through tons of videos looking for answers. None of them helped and I went to bed frustrated. I decided to try again this morning and found your tutorial. It worked! I was so excited. Thank you! I felt like I was going insane. If I could hug you, I would! :)

If the bobbin case has been disassembled, you should probably just buy a new one as trying to put one back together would be very difficult with all the technical specifications that are required. Even if you were lucky enough to get it back together, the tiny adjustments required to get the tension accurate would be nearly impossible.

However, if you are asking how to install the bobbin case back into the machine, that is a different issue. That should be covered in your owner's manual.

IMHO, it may be more productive to buy a replacement bobbin case for your machine. The mechanics of the bobbin case are very important to successful use of the machine, so a lot of time and energy could result it no success. A non-OEM bobbin case could cost less than $10.

Bolt under bobbin winder fell inside machine LS-2125i

My brother machine has 2 screws that are under the carry handle, this removes the top piece of the casing and then you should be able to just tip the machine upside down to drop the screw out. Hope this helps.

Sews good on top but balls up on bottom.

Check that the thread is tight around the bobbin. Make sure that the bobbin is in the right way around - the bobbin thread should double back on itself coming out of the bobbin holder. The bobbin tension adjustment is the small screw in the plate on the bobbin case that the thread passes under as it comes off the bobbin and goes out.

Put your bobbin back in, look at your manual for placement. I think that your don't have yours threaded right and inserted the way it should be.

You need to either adjust the tension or ensure that you have routed the bobbin thread properly.

Apr 11, 2010 | Brother LS-2125 Mechanical Sewing Machine

Sounds like either the bobbin case tension is too light or is not in the tension at all.

Consult your manual for how to place the thread in the tension and retry. Increase the bobbin case tension if necessary.

The top tension may be set too high.

Bobbin case on brother sewing machine

Well, from the picture I see that your bobbin is a front load as opposed to a top load.. if you tilt the front panel down, you will see where the bobbin and casing goes. Put the bobbin in the casing with the thread pulling from the right hand side of the casing making sure the thread in guided into the small **** on the top edge of the casing.. On the back of the casing the will be a small tab. Pull that away from the casing and enter the casing in to the opening for the bobbin. It should snap into place when you release the little tab.
