Try going into settings and mobile networks and change from cdma to imts or global network units try all three until you find one that works
the sim card must match and be activated by your carrier/ provider

i have one of these phones, im from new zealand and i braught it over from aussie. im trying to put a vodafone sim in it because telstra isnt over here. it wont let me, but i do know how to turn it on, make sure its fully charged, then on the right hand side above the mp3 button there is a red phone shaped button. hold that down. it seems to need to be held down longer than most phones. if it stil doesnt turn on there must be something wrong :/ but id like to find out how the heck to switch to vodafone on this thing, it just goes "insert correct sim"
