I tap my candy crush icon on desktop of my iPad . The game starts loading and then it goes back to the desk top. What is the problem?

Candy crush issue is mainly because of updated version of IOS on ipads ... update your ios on ipad and re-download the game. it will work properly..

I'm certainly not a gamer, but in this case try restarting the iPhone.
If that doesn't help remove the app and do a fresh re-install from the app store. In-App purchases can be restored. I'm not sure if you retain your game status - again i'm not a gamer.
