FFTW1001PW Frididaire washer with bad circut board can you bypass the door switch

Is the pump running. If so it could have something blocking it. The machine won't spin unless the tub is empty.

The circut board thinks the door switch is open.Try unpluging machine for 3 min.The restart as normal.
Its more a control board issue then a door switch.

This is due to either a faulty door switch or a bad circut board.

You can remove the door switch and jump it out,or tie both wires together,unplug machine before you do this.

If this does not help the you have a bad circut board.

E20 is not an exact error code. It's indicating a possible pump out problem. Here is a few possible causes of an E20 error code:

1. Restriction in the drain pump

2. Failed pump

3. Water not pumping out fast enough (crimped drain hose)

4. Too many suds ( too much detergent or wrong kind)

5. Pressure switch (not communicating with control board)

6. Loose wire at pressure switch

7. Loose wire at pump or control board

8. Failed control board

did you tested your led switch? you can bypass lid switch just have to be very careful after that....if it is a bad lid switch better replace it....unexpencive and more safe

Either the thermostat, fan relay on circut board or blower motor bad. Jumper the R and G terminals together on the circut board, depress the door switch and see if the blower runs, if not, check for power to motor, capacitor and motor windings. If it runs then you have tstat/control voltage wiring problem.

If you remove the motor control board, you will probably see burnt spot on the board.Board and motor need to be replaced, pretty expensive repair.

try your outlet,,plug something else there to see if you have current if so make sure breaker is 15 amps or better with washer on line alone..if good bad door switch..
