The CL code on the WD-10165FU indicates that the Child Lock (front panel lock) has been activated to prevent accidentally starting the washer. Press and hold the Temp and Eco/Rapid buttons simultaneously for several seconds until the CL code disappears. This is the method for several LG models
If this doesn't work, look at the panel on your washer for "Child Lock" or a small padlock symbol below a button's main function title or below a button or in the middle of a line between two buttons. This will be in a much smaller font than the other text on the washer. Press and hold the indicated button or buttons to unlock the safety feature. LG's support for the CL code does not give a specific button. See http://www.lg.com/za/support/product-help/CT20230055-20150159516623-others . The button you need could be labeled Pre-Wash, Tub Clean or Option. I found the How-To tip for power issues and the CL code on page 5 of the tips for the WD-10165FU at http://www.lg.com/za/support/product-help?categoryId=&superCategoryId=&searchChck=false&reSearch=WD-10165FU&search=WD-10165FU&symptom=&sort=₪tPage=5 .
I hope this helps.

(The Child Lock feature keeps the washer from being activated when you wipe the front panel clean. It will also stop a child from starting the washer with another child or pet in the drum.)
CL means that your washing machine's CHILD LOCK is ON. You can find two buttons Temp and Options in the panel. Turn ON the machine, press these two buttons together for 3 seconds and thats it. It might have a little kids face above a lock key, inbetween the wash and rinse buttons, hold these for 3/5 seconds and it should work
