hi something similar has started happening to our washer, after the initial wash starts the machine doesn't do anything for a while then the red door light flashes on and off very quickly as does the 1st and 3rd green wash cycle light?
Thanks for choosing FixYa and welcome to the site. Your tray has a hose that leads the fluid into the washer. You need to clean this hose out. Take out the tray and clean the hose. This should solve your issue.
Hi from retired Englishman in SW France @21:31 Sat evening -'cos there's nothing on TV!
You will need the make, model and possibly serial number as reference. These are normally found on a label on the underside of the top of the door surround.
Whoever you are ordering from should be able to supply the correct ones.
Sam. The small nut and bolt which protrudes between the element ends should be loosened but not taken off. Press on the bolt, which will relax the compression on the rubber sealing block. This should allow you to extract the element. Once you have done this it will become clear..
At first thought it was door lock mechanism was at fault but proved it to be ok - removed rubber 'boot' which on this model was on two stretchable spring retainers and checked operation of door lock.
Thought door hinges may have been bent so dismantled door, finding the problem to be the pin that the door latch pivots on had come out on one side so not lining up properly. This was easily pushed back into position.
Pull the drawer out as far as it will come and then grasping it firmly, give it a good tug towards you, this will free the drawer to enable you to thoroughly clean every piece of it, particularly the conditioner parts of it.
Get a piece of wire with a bend on the end, and poke it in to all the holes in the top of the dispenser compartment, this will clera any blockages there.
Plz rate my solution, and feel free to leave any comment.
Thanks.
these machines have a memory built into the pcb's which means that if they are switched off or there is a powercut etc they will just carry on from where they were in the cycle as soon as they next power up. if there is a black dot on the timer settings turn the dial to it then switch machine on and this should reset it for you after a few seconds. if this does not work count how many times the doorlock light flashes as this is a fault analysis code they will usually flas then pause for a second then flash again and repeat this sequence until a longer pause (3 seconds) then the sequence starts over.
