Hello Tina, The LO code means lid open so the washer thinks the lid is open and wont agitate/spin with the lid open. What to check and see if the lid switch which is basically a magnet is good firstly check on the lid for the magnet to be in place, with the lid open the magnet will be in the upper left corner (ya can check it by seeing if a paper clip or similar item sticks to the magnet) if it seems ok next check where it would fit to when the lid is closed which would be on the top in the front left corner and check and see if that area seems intact and not cracked. If ya find the magnet or the area on the top to be in good shape the lid switch would need to be replaced . The part number for that switch is WH12X10104 the exact name for it is the REED SWITCH and it could be purchased at your local appliance parts store or online at;searspartsdirect.comapdepot.compartselect.comapwagner.comrepairclinic.com I hope i have been able to help ya fix your washer,GENE
worst washer I ever owned how do you bypass water level so you can wash a comforter man I am so disappointed with this GE Profile energy saver if I can't move the water level up I'm going to put it out along the road a trash day and it's only 4 months old
check the lid switch,if they go open it will not spin due to safety reasons, you can bypass this switch for testing the spin cycle, then if things work, just replace this switch
i would recomended, becouse it is not just lid switch, on this model it is a small conroler..but if you still want it...it is on thge back of your top lid, right on the center..open your lid and look under
Hello, your problem is going to be with the lids switch, in this machine it is going to be a magnetic contact. You can confirm this my pulling the front panel off and accessing the wiring to the lids switch, If you have electrical knowledge bypass the lid switch using a wire nut and run the machine. If all is ok make sure you replace the lid switch since it is there for a reason. If you have any other questions or concerns please feel free to comment again. Good Luck!!! Thanks for using Fix-ya. A high rating would be appreciated for your free question :)
is the lid closed? if it is the it is the lid close safety switch you can by pass the switch but i would replace it if u do bypass unplug the machine its a safety thing. Tom
First, this machine has an electronic motor. Check to see if belt is broken. If not then unplug for 2 minutes, plug back in and open and close lid 7 times slowly. This will reset motor. A common problem with this machine. I dont think it is the magnetic lid switch.
