SOURCE: Water and soap remains in the soap tray

You need to check for blockage in dispenser, remove completely and thoroughly clean every part of it.
Other possibility is not enough water pressure to take all powder down, check water pressure, filters in hoses if fitted..
Check hose from dispenser to drum for restriction.
Plz rate my solution.
Thanks.

SOURCE: Front Load Washer has water coming out around door, and soap tray

This advice is for a washer that fills and will not shut off, resulting in an overflow. Or, water is leaking from the washer while filling. The symptoms can apply to either a TOP LOADER or FRONT LOADER washer. This may be able to save you from an expensive service call by making these simple visual checks.

Water Does Not Shut Off and Overflows: The water level in a washer is controlled by the Pressure Switch. The switch is usually cylindrical in shape and has an electrical connection and an air hose attached. In many cases, the small air hose comes loose from the Pressure Switch fitting and/or falls off. This air hose is required to detect the air pressure from the wash tub as tub fills. With no air pressure, the switch will not function and the result will be a wash tub that fills continuously to the point of overflowing. The same would be true, if the air hose has any cracks, splits or holes in it.

Water Leaking While Filling: The other end of this hose runs to the air dome fitting on the side of the wash tub. If the lower end of the hose comes off, the water will begin to spill onto the floor under the washer, but the tub will not fill.

What to Look For: Check for the obvious. Make sure the air hose is still attached to the pressure switch and air dome. Then, inspect the entire length of the hose, paying particular attention to areas where chaffing may occur and at the points where the hose connects to the pressure switch and air dome. Vibrations from the washer can cause some wear if the hose is rubbing against anything, and the ends of the hose can stretch over time and not seal properly.

On most top loaders the Pressure Switch is located inside the operator console behind the knob that controls the water level. This knob is commonly referred to as the "Load Level", "Load Size" or "Water Level". On front loader washers the pressure switch location is usually located in the back of the washer behind the wash tub, or along the interior cabinet wall adjacent to the wash tub.

How to Correct: If the hose has slipped off, cut about ½" off the end of the hose and reattach to the pressure switch and/or air dome fitting. Take a small zip tie and place it around the hose at the point where it connects to the fitting. DO NOT over tighten as this can damage the air hose fitting. Just make the zip tie snug enough to keep the air hose from sliding off. If the hose has any cracks or holes, you can attempt to seal them by using electrical tape. Replacement tubing can be purchased at any hardware store.

NOTE: This is not an all inclusive fix, as the Pressure Switch can fail in some cases and cause similar symptoms. This is merely a preliminary check for a common occurrence that I have discovered. It can give symptoms of a major problem, resulting in a call for a repairman, only to turn out to be a simple fix that any Do-It-Yourselfer should be able to check and correct themselves. I hope this information is found to be helpful and saves many of you a future service call.

Water runs out of soap box during rinse cycle

Hi there, given this a lot of thought. I had same problem. Could be that you are in a hard water area. Soap is not dissolving properly and building up in the rubber tube between soap box and drum. How I resolved this. Turn off power remove top cover of washing machine and massage the rubber pipe between soap box and drum to soften and cause undissolved saoa to drop into drum. This should rectify problem. Also consider using every month some descaler powder called Descaler cheapest from Axxxxn best wishes.

Frigidaire Affinity washer not dispensing soap

Does water come into the soap slot; if it doesn't the small hose connecting to it has disconnected. To access this you must open up the top of the machine to locate, connect. Another aspect could be the soap slot could be blocked with old soap, and water could be overflowing into adjoining slots. Try to gently remove the push tray to clean out.

Miele washer leaking from soap tray (on rinse cycle). Can't figure out what's the problem. Please help.

Remove and clean fully soap tray. if persists could be machine leveling or water pressure too high going in so fast to tray that its unable to cope, in which case try reducing the water pressure. good luck

Water & soap was coming out of the dishwaster. Replaced the seal around the door. Ran again on a pots & pan cycle to clean & it worked fine. Ran a normal cycle with dishes & soap &...

That sounds like the float switch is acting up. It is a mushroom looking device on the bottom that has a movable (up and down) plastic cup over the top. With the machine off, take the lower tray out and lift up on the cup--you should hear a faint 'click' when it nears the upper limit. It should also drop to the bottom when released. There may be food deposits that interfere with the proper movement of the cup. Are you using dish washer detergent only?

Soap dispenser keeps filling with water after everyload. I have to empty after load. The dispenser is also growing mold.

You should clean the soap dispenser regularly by removing it from the washer.
Some units have a release clip but some just need to be pulled out firmly by hand.

Then give the tray a very good clean as no soap residue should be present. It sounds like the fabric conditioner cycle is filling the relevant tray section but unable to drain through blockage.

Should be pretty straight forward to remedy.

My soap won't dissolve during the cycle.

You are not getting enough water or you are losing the water during wash cycle. Is you dishwasher new or older? How is it plumbed in? If it is plumbed through the floor you will have to put and air gap in to keep the water in it. All tall tub dishwasher have to be plumbed properly.

FRIGIDAIRE FRONT LOAD WASHER

I too had the same problem, I closed the soap tray and a magnet popped out and got stuck to the door. Same problem with it acting like it was going to start and then beeped. This is where the magnet goes, just stick it back in, its held in with pressure (barely) :)

I took the whole control panel off to locate the magnetic reed switch, then just reverse engineered where the magnet is supposed to go on the soap drawer.

Eurotech washer Leaking water front detergent drawer

Hi,
I'm not familiar with your machine but usually there are nozzles above the soap drawer which squirt the water on to the detergent compartments at the appropriate times . If you can take out the soap tray have a look to see if the nozzle bit has come loose and is pointing towards you...also check that the outlets from the soap tray are not clogged with...soap.

Failing that, you could partially turn off the water supply to the machine so the pressure is reduced. Sure it will take longer to fill, but you won't get so wet.

Hope this helps. If this "fixes ya", I'd appreciate a rating for my reply, If not, please delay the rating and add a comment with any extra info you have and I will try to think of something else.

Thanks, D
