f your system is out of contract and does not have any warranty left (because this will void any warranties on the phone), you need to ask your original carrier to email you the Unlock code.

What network are you using on your phone? You must know original sim network card the you can decide the right LG GT540 unlock code. Try to find your lg unlock code from online seller, they usually have a complete list of unlock code from any nework provider.

It should be the last four digits of your cell phone number. If that doesn't work, try four zeros. Hope this helps!

easy take out sim power on input # * 7337 # phone resets then its unlocked

get hold of your nework operator and ask for a sim update, this will solve the problem
