Samsung galaxy mega 19200 won't go past the samsung screen

When I power on my phone it comes on but when it get to the screen with samgsung on it that's when it's freezing up it get stuck on that screen

Alternate Master Reset Method
  1. When powered off, press and hold the Volume up and the Home key.
  2. Press the Power key, and then release when you see small blue lettering at the top. An Android guy laying on his back should be on the screen.
  3. Press the Volume down key, and then highlight wipe data/factory reset.
  4. Press the Power key.
  5. Press the Volume down key until "Yes - delete all user data" is highlighted, and then press the Power key.
  6. Press the Power key to reboot the device.
