My Kenmore washer Model 110. 21102011, Series C11120412 decided to stop working other night. could not get it restarted or any lights to show. It would however make a clicking noise when you held the button for 3 seconds to cancel. Left it unplugged for 2 days plugged it in today 21-dec-16, still nothing. tried to get it into diagnostic mode and again nothing. tried diagnostic mode two times. no lights no anything. Well I turned dial a bunch then for the hell of i hit start and it started. so canceled it put it on cycle i wanted and there it went. filled to level and was agitating. left it come back and red lock light is on lid locked and nothing going on. wont pause nothing. finally held button to cancel and opened lid. stopped with water in and mid cycle during agitating now lights will not come back on and its dead again. it does however still make clicking noise when you hold button for 2 seconds to cancel. also there is a slight hot smell that does start to form. what do i do?
Should get some one to look at it. If there is a hot smell could be a short someplace.
