0025 How To Reset Ematic TV Converter Box: Unplug the Box from power:
-Turn off the television and unplug your converter box.
-Leave the box unplugged for 1 minute and plug it back in.
Cycle the Box:
-The box will reset after unplugging.
-Turn TV back on.
-Allow a few minutes to complete the reset cycle.
-Once cycled check to make sure everything is set and working properly.

There is an electronic program guide. However, it's limited. To see the current program and upcoming programs for the current channel, press the EPG button on the original Ematic AT103B remote. (Universal remotes may or may not match the function.) To see the other channel's program list, use the left/right arrows to scroll through the lists for all of the available channels.

You may find a web site like Titan TV, http://www.titantv.com/ , more useful. The site has a guide to all channels at once by time for your area OTA channels.

I have a Ematic converter box and im trying to use a GE universal remote but i can't find a code somebody help me please.

Online it says the ematic digital converter box codes for universal remote control programing:
1) 0029
2) 0022
3) 0028
4) 0025
Though I have an RCA UNIVERSAL REMOTE that can be programmed to control 4 different devices and I have tried these 4 digit codes via the "Direct Code Entry" technique and was unsuccessful. I have also tried the remotes "Auto Code Search" technique which is how I ultimately did find some success but not all of the original remotes functions were available through the RCA UNIVERSAL remote and opening and navigation of the boxes menus proves to be difficult if possible at all, slow, frustrating and some buttons on the remote perform functions very different from what the buttons label indicates
Like pressing the guide button actually functions as the number pads #3 button

To select a proper universal remote control, you should know about the number of digits to its set-up codes.
