HP G7000 Bios Password

Hi there, can anyone help me to reset the password to get into the bios, i bought the laptop second hand and want to downgrade to xp, but there is a password to get into the bios, without it i cant get to disable the native mode

Search for your service manual(or just remove every cover on the bottom) to find out where your battery is located(not the big main one, the one for the clock and such) and remove it and let your laptop sit for about an hour or so, then it should be erased.

If you know how to crack the case and disconnect the CMOS battery for a minute, the bios password will reset. Otherwise contact the manufacturer.
