Washer will not drain:

Thedrain water pumpis the main part in your washing machine that pumps out the water. If this is defective or has failed in any way, this will be the reason why your washer will not drain the water. Before you order a new drain pump, make sure tocheck the pump to be sure a small object like clothing or similar has not lodged itself insideof it causing the NO DRAIN issue and even a no spin issue?. If the drain pump is not clogged, you can test it with a multimeter and remove and replace if needed. Go to Google or YouTube and search for "Replace Washing Machine Drain Pump" then type your brand and model number of washer to show you details on replacement.

The washing machinedrain hoseis where the water flows through to get the water out.If this drain hose is blocked, kinked, bent, or clogged, the washer will NOT be able to remove the waterfrom the tub. Check the drain hose to be sure it allows the water to flow freely. You can take the drain hose off and run water through it in your sink to be sure it is not blocked. If there is water STILL in the washer when you remove the drain hose, grab a bucket as the water will exit from where you disconnected it
Thewater pump belt(to drain out the water) may have broke or become frayed or loose. If this belt breaks then it is unable to drain and remove the water from your washer. Inspect the belt to see if this is causing theNO DRAINissue and remove and replace if needed.

If thelid switchis not working as required it will cause your washer to not drain (and many other problems). This may be unlikely as a bad lid switch will usually cause your washer to alsonot agitate or spin. However on some models this can vary. The best thing to do if you have a suspected bad lid switch is to test it. It can fail electrically and or mechanically. If mechanical failure is the issue, you should be able to see if it is cracked, broken, or not in place to make contact with the lid. To test it electrically, use a multimeter set on Ohms and test it for continuityMy advice is free cuz God is good!

Hello, Are the clothes still soaked? Have you moved the drain hose higher? Is the drain hose kinked? It is not at all uncommon for some water to remain below the drum.

What does it mean when it says PE on my lg wm0642hw washing machine

The PE error or fault code indicates that the machine is overfilling with water. This washer is equipped with a water level pressure switch. As the machine fills, the pressure increases on the switch, at the set pressure, the switch cuts power to the water inlet valve and the water stops flowing into the washer. If the pressure switch fails to sense properly, or the water inlet valve fails to shut off the unit can overfill. This situation can also be caused if the machine does not drain properly. First, check to see if water ever enters the machine when it is turned off. If so, replace the water inlet valve. Next, check the drain line to be sure it's not clogged or kinked. Next, check to see if the drain pump is working properly and removing the water from the previous cycle. If all of those check out, you may need to replace the pressure switch.

Whirlpool front loader duet hd washer gets stuck in the wash cycle with the error code of F02. What is F02 mean?

Whirlpool Duet front-load washer F02 usually means it is taking over 8 minutes for the washer to sense that the rinse or wash water has drained, which either means that the drain/filter is clogged or the pressure switch/tube is clogged (causing both the washer to over-fill with water and not sensing that water has drained).

To clear out the drain/filter, tilt the washer backwards a little for easier to the kick-plate and support the front bottom with a wood block or similar, remove the front kick-plate's (3) retaining screws and swing the kick-plate up out of the way. The filter drain is behind the white knob in the center, be prepared with something to catch any remaining water and lots of towels to soak up any spills, and turn the knob counter-clockwise to remove the filter.

My dishwasher will not fill with water. it sits there for a bit, then the pump kicks on and starts washing with no water in the machine.

Your dish washer may have a number of problems that may cause the water inlet/outlet problems:-

1 The water level or water presuer indicator may be blocked or not sensing due to deposits on it. Check it out and clean it and/or replace it

2 The water inlet solenoid may not be operating, check out and replace

3 The programmer is the most likely cause but is the most expensive to replace as they are not repairable. this is where it sensing the drum id full of water and has completed a cycle then puts the pump on to drain out?

Hope this is useful help Regards Mike

My danby fills and immediately drains.

Hi, It sounds like the drain hose has dropped lower then the water level in the washer. Check and see if the hose end is as high as the top of the washer.
I hope this helps you.

Will not wash, spin or drain out water

Use a plastic container that will fit in the machine and bail the water out into a bucket, only takes a few minutes.
If it has a removable panel at the front take it off and that will expose all the pumpout hose, the pump and the undercarriage of the machine.
You can drain the remaining water from the machine by removing the large rubber pump-out hose from under the plastic bowl, use a bucket to catch the water.
Check under the washing machine for a belt that may have broken or just come off.
hope this helps you
