My nook won't show the picture I just have the sound what would cause this?

U turn tv on hear any squiling,grinding or motor noises?Picture show up before it shut down picture have flashes of black&white within the picture?Yes,to all of these,this tv have a colors wheel and it dead,require the colors wheel replacing.No,none of these problems.The tv projection lamp,if in this tv like a 1 1/2 or 2 years,tv ben on an watches like 4 or 5 hours a day?The "LAMP" LED light indication lite up or flahes,the projection lamp life is over.Require a new projection lamp.

I have had the same problem with the same exact TV. The TV does not have any issues while running Cable but when I am playing my 360 it sometimes shuts off every 5 minutes, if you have found a solution for this probelm please email me at [email protected].

Check that you have not got an auto power off setting on. Check that the aerial connections are good. That the signal is strong from the stations it is picking up. Weak signals can cause the box to shut down.
It the box is very hot when it shuts down, you might have a fault on it.

yes its a tv. resolder the circuit board its a cold solder.

sounds like a bad solder connection i usually fix these problems for a very fair price call tv shop but i'm 90% sure dad solder

When the set shuts off if you try to press power again does the led blink? If so let me know the number of blinks
