Brightness 5 ohm, battery drain 10 ohm

I disagree. Assuming that the bulbs are not connected together in either series or parallel, the answer is the five ohm resistor. The five ohm resistor passes twice as much current as the ten ohm.

The bulb with 10 ohm resistance will grow brighter and the same bulb will diffuse first

Hopefully, I can explain this correctly.

1 light year = 9.461e+15 m

= 9.416e+12 km

I assume from your notation that you are travelling at 40 000 kph.

40 000 = 4.000e+5

Now we have everything in the same units, we can divide the light year by speed to get time.

9.416 x 10^12

= -------------------

4.000 x 10^5

= 2.354 x 10^7 hours

= 23 540 000 hours

= 980 833 days

= 2 685 years

Good luck,

Paul

I think you want to reduce the fraction to the lowest terms.

Improper fraction 1 3/4 produces an improper fraction of 7/4 (1 times denominator plus numerator)

To reduce a fraction, we need to divide the numerator (number on top) and the denominator (number on the bottom) by the greatest common factor (GCF).

To get the GCF, find the factors of the numerators and denominators and find the greatest number that is in both lists.

The factors of 2 are 1, 2.

The factors of 10 are 1, 2, 5, 10.

The greatest (largest) number is both lists is 2, so we divide the numerator and denominator by 2 and get 1/5.

Good luck,

Paul

slope or m = (y2 -y1)/(x2-x1)

always start with the same point.

m = (1 - (-5))/(-2-5)

m = (1 + 5)/(-7)

m = 6/-7

m = -6/7

The y-intercept is the b in the equation y=mx+b.

We can use either point to calculate b. Let's use (-2,1). So every time we see x, we put in -2, and every time we see y, we put in 1.

y = -6/7x + b

1 = -6/7 (-2) + b

1 = 12/7 + b

1 = 1 5/7 + b

-5/7 = b

So, y = -6/7x - 5/7

To check, we substitute in the other point and see if the left side is equal to the right side.

LS RS

-5 -6/7(5) - 5/7

-5 -30/7 - 5/7

-5 -35/7

-5 -5

LS = RS

a^2 + b^2 = c^2

a squared + b squared = c squared, where c is the length of the hypotenuse, and a and b are the lengths of the other two sides in a right-angled triangle.

Let's look at the overall picture. Does it make sense if you have a fifth of a pizza and add a half pizza, you get less than a third of a pizza.

Now, into the math.

Here is a fifth of a pizza.

Here is half a pizza.

It is hard to add these two.

We find the least common multiple of the denominators 2 and 5 and get 10.

Let's redo the pizzas in 10 slices.

And the half pizza.

Now with the same sized slices, we can add the slices and calculate the result.

Now we have seven slices out of ten, or 7/10.

Good luck.
