To delete an email address from your iPad, go to Settings -> Mail and contacts then click on the email address you want to delete. There should be a choice below that says Delete!
You can delete the email account from your ipad or the best and easiest way is to login to you email account directly the the server. Open the webpage of your ISP (gmail.com, yahoo.com etc..) login to your account and delete mails from there. Depending on your ipad email account this is the only way to delete the mails for good.
. Your ipad does not store those emails on your ipad so if you are having a storage problem, that won't fix it. To delete all the emails though, you have to go to the email account itself and delete them from there.
If you are trying to remove an email address you set up on your ipad just do the following. Go into SETTINGS>>MAIL, CONTACTS, CALENDERS. It should be about the 12th tab on the left.
