My sony handycam dcr-dvd 7 is blurred and i donot get a clear picture the blurred is colored and i have one that videos in one color can it be fixed

When i turn on camcorder the picture doenot show only a blurred color and i have another dcr-dvd 7 films in one color what seems to be the problem with both handycams

The viewfinder is showing a lime green screen, some colored lines and eventually comes back clear.

The problem is with a view finder cable ,it must have got broken as it gets hard while we using.

Picture is distorted blurred lines

i had same problem. Mine was a product defect issue and although it was out of warranty Sony repaired as this is a problem that they have had with lots of these cameras. Call Sony.

under the lcd is ? an . . . s - video connector ( color is separate there ) if color looks ok out of the s - video , there may be a loose composite video connector cable inside camera ( warranty is void - if you open it to check ) ;
