Not sure what you mean - if you wish to produce images taking up less storage, then reduce the resolution; if you wish to reduce the size of printed images, use image-editing software on your computer.

You have to resize the picture to some smaller resolution. you can download free softwares like PICASA for it, or you can do it online here You can change it to 800x600 resolution.

There are at least three alternatives.

1. Take smaller pictures. Your camera should have mulitple resolutions available, possibly including one as small as 640x480. Since you didn't specify the model of your camera, I can neither tell you the smallest available on your camera, nor how to set it.

2. Reduce the size on the camera. Again, I can't be too specific, but there probably is an item in the Playback menu to resize pictures.

3. Reduce the size on the computer. Just about any photo manipulation software (free or otherwise) on Windows or Mac will have the ability to reduce the size of a photo.

My preference is to do it on the computer, preferring to take my pics at the camera's best resolution. That way, if Bigfoot wanders by or a UFO lands outside, I'll have the best pics I can get.

set the camera for a lower resolution (megapixels). go into yr menu and change for considerable low resolution, make some tries to find which one suite to u better usually 2 or 3 millions megapixels should be fine.

you have your "picture size" set too large. In the pic settings you can change it to take more or less pictures, depending on the quality you want. A better photo will take more memory. If you don't want to print your photos, put your setting on smaller size, and you will be able too shoot all day.

Hi , if you corel or adobe you may reduce by smaller or you may print picture again to reduce sizes.

A quick and easy solution would be to use a CF card reader. You will find that the transfer rates are higher too. With a card reader you will be able to copy your images to any system running Windows, Mac OS or Linux without installing the camera's software.
