PCL error is telling you that the printer does not understand the data being sent. Could be a corrupt or incorrect driver, or the program you are printing from is sending corrupt data.

When i scan to email, i get an error; "send error 2202" and the document is not sent to email. The Kyocera fs-1028mfp printer is connected to the LAN using a network cable.

Apparently there is a communication error between the printer mail server. Can you ping both reliably ? Is it an internal mail server ? If yes, can you ping the printer from it ? Did you try changing the network cable ? How about IP addresses ? Could there be a conflict ?

Right click on the printer icon and choose properties. Your emulations are listed there.
