Well i fixed my nook like that simple, If you mean its gonna reset just re-input your past data and it'll be all right! If not u need to goto the store or ask for help from an expert.
In order to start using your Nook, you'll need to register it through the Barnes & Noble website - I've shared the steps below. Once you've registered it, you will be able to start purchasing and reading books. Please note that you will need to set-up a B&N.com account first. That is done on BN.com and simply click "new user account." Once you have set that up, follow the below Nook set-up steps.

Charge your new NOOK 3G or NOOK Wi-Fi for 3-hours from a wall outlet using the Power Adapter and USB Cable packed at the bottom of your NOOK box.
Turn on your NOOK by pressing the power button at the top.
Connect to Wi-Fi.
Register your device by entering your BN.com account email.
Tap the down arrow button in the lower right corner of your color touchscreen.
