Hi my Hoover 2302l boss toploader 7.5kg type LP03 wont stop filling. Can you please direct me to how to fix thanks

Hoover suggests that the water fill valve(s) may be turned off. Error 2 means It cannot fill correctly according to their owners manual.

You have had a leak.
You can disconnect the hose and empty all the water out of it, then leave the hose in the sun to heat up, this will SOMETIMES reset the water stop, if not you will need a new hose.

timer bad

The problem you are having could simply be the inlet valve.

The inlet hose is attached to the inlet valve on the machine. Where it screws on that is.

You can get a valve from an appliance parts shop and they are inexpensive.

all hoover machines spin in a clockwise direction the fact that you say the machine only washes in an anti-clockwise direction is a good indication that the reversing switches have failed (these provide the switching to drive the motor in either direction) if your machine uses a mechanical type programme timer this has failed if it it is a processor controlled machine it will be the motor drive card will need to be replaced either way not a diy task
