they are covered,if you need to tune it then you need to clean and rebuild the carb and replace gas lines,buy it all on ebay for less than 20 bucks,ethanol kills plastic,buy the whole carb,you cant adjust yours
The long bolt coming down at the end shaft like place reel over bolt then turn back and forth slowly while pushing upward and it should lock in and take knob or bolt at end and tighten to the right.
the part you bump on the ground to feed new line unscrews but typically its left hand threads so you think you are tightening but actually loosening. once off the spool chould come out then you may can tap on the head with a hammer coaxing it to come off.
The Featherlite should use .065 trimmer line and has to be wound the OPPOSITE way the head turns. There should be an arrow on the spool showing which way to wind line.....
