ITunes enables you to restore iPad to factory settings. Before you start restoring iPad to factory settings, please note that you need to install the latest version of iTunes on your PC or MAC. Then go to Settings > iCloud to turn off Find My iPhone. Now, you can factory reset your iPad with iTunes as follows.

1. Plug iPad into the computer with the USB cable. The iTunes on your computer will automatically launch. If not, double-click the icon to start it.
2. Click the name of your iPad at the upper right corner of iTunes, and then the information of your iPad will be shown. Click the "Restore iPhone" button in the window to start.
3. iTunes will ask whether you want to back up iPad before restoring. You'd better choose "Yes" for the reset will erase the contents in your iPad. Then iTunes will start restoring your iPad to factory settings.
4. Click Restore again to confirm. Then iTunes erases your iPad and installs the latest iOS software. After you restore your iPad to factory settings, it will restart. Now you can set it up as new.

I forgot my unlock code for my old ipad1 haven't used in in months

If your iPad is disabled, the only way to unlock it is to completely erase and reset it. If you have a backup, you'll be able to restore it, otherwise you'll lose all of your data. There is no way to unlock a disabled iPad unless you use the correct passcode or you erase it. And the following guidance will show you how to unlock a disabled iPhone with iTunes.

Step 1. Connect your iPad to the computer with via a USB cable that your iPad has trusted.
Step 2. Launch iTunes. If you've synced your iPad with iTunes, then no "enter password" is required.
Step 3. iTunes will automatically sync your iPad and create a backup file. If it doesn't, you should sync your iTunes and create a backup file manually by clicking "Back up Now" in the Summary window.
Step 4. In the Summary window, you can see the option "Restore iPhone". Click it to reset your iPad. Once the reset process is complete, you'll be taken through the iPod's initial setup process.
Step 5. Select "Restore from iTunes backup" during the setup process. This will load the backup that you created so that all of your data is restored.

You will need to reset your iPad. If you have a previous backup of your device on your computer, you can restore your iPad from that, otherwise you will need to plug the iPad into your computer and reset it.

Ipad says disabled

http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1212

If you don't remember setting up a passcode on your ipad, maybe someone else did, and then entered the wrong passcode more than six times, resulting in a disabled ipad.
In the link above you will see instructions on how to deal with this problem, which pretty much boil down to connecting your ipad to itunes and restoring from a previous backup that you may have saved.
If you never created a backup, you can still reset and wipe your ipad from itunes, resulting in everything being erased, but at lease giving you back full use of your ipad.

Good luck!
