How do ifind the btu for my cz-10rt32p air con
Air Con Model Numbers normally have the capacity of the unit within the Model Number, but not always. It would look to me as if your unit was a 32,000 BTU unit, but I could be wrong. It should say it on the label. It can be displayed in BTU or Tons. One Ton = 12,000 BTU. For example, if your label says 2.5 Tons, multiply this by 12,000 and you'll get the total of 30,000 BTU.
But if you can't find it on the label or the label is missing, you can get an approximate by measuring the room the unit is cooling/heating. The formula for calculating this varies from place to place due to weather conditions, and maximum/minimum temperatures where you live.
I live in the Caribbean and it is very hot here all year long, so we use this formula: length x width x 85°F
But this formula will be different if you live in the northern parts of the country. Do a research online to find the correct formula for your area if you need to use this method.
