I need a meade owners manual for the lx 200 acf r

Most Meade manuals are available on their support site: http://www.meade.com/support/manuals/ . Scroll down through the list for the LX200 series manuals (in the Telescopes section). Many Meade telescope manuals are available here: http://www.meade.com/support/manuals/ . There are several models in the LX200 series. The manual for the LX200-ACF is here: http://www.meade.com/downloads/dl/file/id/11/product/0/lx200_acf_manual.pdf . There is also a model LX200-R; the manual for this model is at http://www.meade.com/downloads/dl/file/id/13/product/0/lx200_r_manual.pdf . I don't see anything about a model with both the ACF and R features in this series.

Ask Meade ! They made the dam thing.. they don't have it use something else... make one or fix it, use something from another model.

You can try removing the focuser and knob -- and see why the LOCK (which is simply a bolt is stuck.

This can be caused by:

a bad hand controller cable (buy a new one)

a blown circuit board (only Meade can repair)

Improper setup-- read the manual and do all the setup, and initial alignment.

Probably just needs a new lithium coin battery - located behind front panel.

Go to the LX200 Yahoo Group. They have diagrams in the files which you can access if you are a member of the group.

He sent me a copy of the Instruction Manual translated in
French, a pdf file.

I have not tried to use this documentation yet. So I can't tell
how good is it
