Error 55 on daikin ducyed system

Code 55 means literally "the end of codes" so if that is all you are getting, there are no codes. 55 always displays to show that it is done sending codes whether another code is present or not.

12 indicates that the battery has been disconnected recently. 55 shows the end of the code sequence.
Therefore, whatever problem you are having, it isn't generating a code.

The numbers are grouped in twos.
12 Memory standby power lost (this means that you must have disconnected your battery. It will turn off in the next 50 key cycles.
34 Speed control vacuum or vent control solenoid circuits.
32 EGR system
55 end of codes it will always flash 55 informing you that it is finished

12 just means the system was reset recently 55 mean end of codes so don't worry about them 2 however code 51 is an oxygen sensor error (O2 Sensor) a bad or shorted O2 sensor can cause it to run very bad and get poor gas mileage.

OBD Code 12 - No Distributor Reference Pulse (Diagnostic Test Active) The Engine Control Module-ECM uses the distributor reference pulse to calculate the engine speed. On newer engines, the Crank Shaft Position Sensor performs this function.

Symptoms:

• When flashing the Check Engine Light to read codes, code 12 will always display first, indicating the diagnostic system is active
  
• The engine will not run with a "hard" code 12 set
  

Common Problems:

• Chances are you will never need to diagnose a code 12. Rather, the problem would be a crank, no-start condition.
• If code 12 does not flash, that would indicate a communication problem with the ECM.
• Code 12 does not show when reading codes with a scan tool. If there is a communication problem, the scan tool will let you know.

OBD Code 46 - Pass-Key II System Error - Circuit out of Frequency Range The ECM receives a signal from the Pass-Key module. • Engine may not start

• Faulty ignition lock cylinder

OBD Code 43 - Knock Sensor error The ECM receives a signal from the Knock Sensor based on the amount of engine ping detected. The ECM uses information from this sensor to help calculate fuel delivery and spark timing.

Symptoms:

• Engine ping
• Lack of power

Common Problems:

• Faulty Knock sensor
• Poor connection at Knock sensor

Wastegate Solenoid Circuit Error
The ECM regulates turbocharger boost by opening and closing the "wastegate" as necessary. (The wastegate is a vacuum operated bypass valve that limits the ability of the turbo to provide boost.) The Wastegate Solenoid regulates the vacuum supply to the wastegate for proper operation.

Fault Code Description

• 31 - Wastegate Solenoid circuit error

Symptoms

• Lack of power or engine "ping" due to overboost by the turbocharger
  

Common Problems

• The wastegate solenoid would be the most common cause for code 31 to set
• Code 31 does not indicate a problem with the turbocharger or wastegate

Gear Position Switch (PRNDL) Error The Gear Position switch tells the ECM which position the shifter is in. The ECM will use this information to inhibit starter operation, change the transmission shift pattern as necessary, and provide the information for the electronic shift indicator display on the dash.

Fault Code Description

• 31 - Gear Position switch (PRNDL) error

Symptoms

• Engine may not crank over in Park or Neutral
• Electronic shift indicator may flash

Common Problems
A maladjusted or failed Gear Position switch would be the most common cause for a code 31

Code 55 will always be reported regardless of if there is another code to report or not. If you don’t receive a code 55 when retrieving codes, the power limited light may be burned out (or you may not have done the code checking procedure correctly). hold the button in on the stalk for about 10 seconds while showing the service light this worked on my 55 scenic.doesnt always work on all models though.good luck.

anytime you do the self-diagnostic you will almost always get those 2 codes.

12 - direct power input to the PCM has been disconnected within the last 50 key-on cycles
