Use the remote to disable the apps the tv is running, they are called 'widgets' and you have them turned on. It will be inthe menu for internet options
Dear inVaUSA, I followed your action and contacted 1-800-SAMSUNG but did not fare as well as you did. I was told there is not a firmware update nor a patch to fix the "New Device Not Found USB1 Power Overload" even after I read your post to the support representative I was dealing with. She told me that it is a PlayStation issue even though I have never connected any USB device to any USB Port on my Samsung TV. Could I Please trouble you to send me the firmware update you received from Samsung `in a private message or to my email address if you prefer. Thank you!
Inspect for damaged pin on INPUT 1 socket. (left most of the three HDMI connectors)
A quick pull on the cable can damage the pins.

If you see mis-aligned pins then please power off the set before making corrective action.

Action:
a. Highlight EXIT and press ENTER to close the
New Device Found screen.
b. Display the device's setup menus and enable
the device's CEC capabilities.

to appear again.
d. If the New Device Found screen does not

I called 1-800 SAMSUNG and they had a firmware update that fixed the problem. I don't know if the update is available on their website, as I had downloaded a firmware update 2 days previous and this was a newer version that they sent me via email.
