I have a LT-46244 and there are two vertical black

I have a Mitsubishi Model LT-46244 and there are two vertical black lines on the left side of the screen. The first line is approximately 2'' in from the screen edge and the second, fainter line is another 2'' from the first line. Is there a format issue that creates these lines?

3" vertical blue line in center of TV

Defective panel or signal controller. Will require professional repair. If the TV is under warranty, you'll be fine. If not, start looking for a new TV as the cost of repair will likely be more expensive than a new TV.

Mitsubishi LCD #LT40148--left side of screen has vertical lines.

I would guess a sustain or similar board---one for each side of the set and typical shop repair will exceed 200 parts and labor

Mitsubishi 40" TV, LT-40134 Vertical lines on left side of screen

I've got the same TV with the same problem. Sometimes by moving it on the stand the lines will go away but it only sometimes temporarily fixes the problem. For a while it seemed like it needed to heat up to go away but that is not the case. It seems like there is a bad connection somewhere but i cant seem to find it. One day, one thing will fix it, then the next day it wont do the trick. It gets very irritating.

One big black verticle line 2 inches from left side...Help

Honestly you have a big problem because the driver IC & Tape Carrier Package inside controller board at vertical area are damage or itself defective could cause you have 2 inches line appear in your display. The best solutions for this replace lcd panel to fix vertical line.

Vertical lines on my 40 inch lcd mitsubishi hdtv 1080

Similar problem with an eleven and a half month old LT-40148. Approx. 1 inch vertical banding line on left side of screen on all inputs. After about two weeks, same problem on the right side of the screen.

Fortunately this occurred two weeks prior to the one year warranty expiring.

Called Mits customer service and they referred me to an authorized service center who I happened to have dealt with before.

They picked up the set. The front panel (LCD screen ) had to be replaced. Set was gone for two weeks as parts were not in stock. There was no charge. I hope this screen last more than a year.

Misubishi LT-46244. On the left side of screen there is a fine black line that goes from top of TV to bottom of TV. It almost looks like a string of emitters are off.

That is a good guess. You have a row of lcd's that are bad. The only fix for this is to replace the lcd panel. This is very expensive. You should just buy a new tv.
