This is not the fix for this TV. I guarantee that none of the capacitors exhibit the common bulging characteristics of a faulty capacitor. The common answers to everyone's questions are to replace the capacitors. Most likely the culprit is the inverter board.

Hello, two things, one try using the TV with the native resolution of 1366 X 768, and secondly try updating your video card. If you are not having this issue with the TV on the other inputs than most likely it is a settings issue with the laptop. Please rate this comment if it was helpful.

The problem is cause by the transformer on LIPS inverter (Power supply + Inverter board). You could see an obvious burn on the 1 of these transformers ( There are total 3 black transformer on this board). The part number is 4302H.
