Why on Earth would you try Fixya support rather than Webroot's support for this query, I am beyond imagining --unless they stiffed you! But if you installed it once, why wouldn't you use that installation method again? There probably is someway Webroot knows how many licenses you are employing during such an installation but I don't know for certain. If you have done away with your old pc, and only want it on your new pc, you can call webroot, and have them de-activate the previous installation, and that way it will be cleared for installation onto your new pc.
If it is a multiple license disc, (it would say so on the packaging) then you should be good to run the installation from disc on up to three different computers.
If there are problems with registration, you are pretty much locked into calling webroot for assistance.
Some application software rely on the system being as it was if you make a major change like a new hard drive or motherboard the unique ID of your PC will change it is a good idea to keep a copy of this and attempt to re-license with this old code.
It doesn't really matter which version of Spy Sweeper is on the installation disk, as long as the subscription associated with its product key hasn't expired. Spy Sweeper will immediately update to the current version after you install it.
The clock starts on your one-year subscription when you enter the product key during installation. If it's a 3-machine license, then the clock starts on all 3 copies when the first one is installed.
