Press the arrow key pointing to the left on the bottom right side of your keyboard. Unless if you have it disabled. When your typing something into a blank field you pull the screen down from top and puts choose input method, you'll find a bolt like symbol of which will give you settings where you will be able to enable the enter key function

Number pad does not work

Find Alt code.
Numeric Alt codes for symbols are listed in Alt codes list. Check for Alt code of symbol you want to input.
Enable Num Lk.
You may need to simultaneously press ["FN" and "Scr Lk"] keys. That's the combination for "Num Lock" on some laptops. Look at the picture - the "Num Lk"/"Scr Lk" button is highlighted there.
Hold down "Alt" key.
Some laptops require you to hold both "Alt" and "FN" keys.
Input Alt code of symbol on Keypad.
Do this while holding "Alt" button pressed. Type Alt code on your laptop's numeric keypad. It's highlighted on the picture.
Release all the keys.
After you release all the keys alt symbol should be entered. If all this stuff didn't work - check if you have really enabled the "Num Lock" first. Remember that green indicator should shine near the lock symbol on your laptop's keyboard. If that wasn't the case - try simultaneously holding "FN" and "Alt" keys instead of just "Alt". That just might work.

There isnt an enter button on the keyboard

Please mention your cell phone model...
By the way, you can find the enter symbol from option menu too.
Or, you can find the enter symbol by pressing star key/button from your mobile phone.

How do I enter a polynomal into the calculator. I need to be able to do factors with letters in it

Well, the short story is that this calculator cannot do symbolic algebra: it does not have a CAS (Computer Algebra System). However you can enter symbolic expressions using the variables A,B,C,E, X and Y. Use the sequence [ALPHA] [A] to enter the letter A, etc. To type in the symbolic = sign, use the [ALPHA] followed by the key at the top left corner of the keypad that has an = next to it.

When you enter an equation (two expressions linked by an =), press [ALPHA][SOLVE] to solve the equation for tha unknown X. You will be prompted to enter the values of all other letter symbols : A,B,C, D, Y, etc. When all symbols (except X) have been given a value the calculator will find the value of X that satifsfies the equation.

Where is the "tm" symbol

There is no "tm" symbol key on a keyboard, you need to enter an ALT key to type the trademark symbol.
Hold down the "ALT" key while typing 0153 and it will enter this: ™ when you release the ALT key

How do i turn off auto enter on my symbol ls3603mx scanner?

from manufacturers site take scan code sheet, you will just find there programming scan codes, one for start programming, another to terminate auto entry and third to terminate programming. that is correct procedure if scannig is automatically set in scanner, if scanning is in your database on other hand, you need to re-write that bit which insert your code to database/spreedsheet automatically and change it to manual, as i do not know which of these method you use, i cannot be more specific.

try scanner first! usually scanner is programmed on automatic.

Manual carriage return necessary after scanning barcode

With the Symbol scanners, they usually come with a sheet at least of scan codes to configure the scanner. One of those bar codes will have the option of not needing to manually hit the carriage return. What model scanners are they? You can probably find the codes from Symbol.
