Step 1:
For a later reinstallation of Nero 8 it is necessary that you find and note your serial number before uninstalling Nero.
You will find your serial number as follows:
Launch Nero StartSmart.
To do so, double-click the icon "Nero StartSmart" on your desktop. If you do not have a shortcut to Nero StartSmart on your desktop, open Nero StartSmart as follows: Click "Start" in the Windows start menu. Subsequently click the entries "All Programs"-"Nero 8”-"Nero ToolKit" - “Nero ControlCenter”.
Nero Control Center will open. Click the "Licence" icon on the left side to see your serial number
Your serial number is displayed in the window on the right.
Please write down your serial number.
Alternatively, you can also find your serial number in the Windows registry.
Please proceed as follows:
Click "Start" in the Windows start menu.
Click the "Run" command.
The window "Run" will open. Enter "regedit" in the "Open" text field and click the "OK" button.
The registry window will open. You will find your serial number on the left side in the navigation tree. Simply go into the path: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Nero\Installation\Families\Nero 8\Info
Your serial number is displayed next to the "Serial8" entry. It is structured as follows: 1K2x-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx or 2K2x-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx

Step 2:
Now start uninstalling all Nero 8 applications from your computer using the Nero 8 CleanTool.
Please proceed as follows:
Download the Nero 8 CleanTool, save this file to your desktop.
Unzip the ZIP-file with WinZip or WinRAR and save the content to your hard drive.
Double-click on the unzipped EXE-file to start the CleanTool. The window “Nero General Clean Tool” will open. The installed Nero version will be displayed.
Activate the checkboxes in the displayed Nero version.
Then click the “Clean” button. A status window will open. The execution of the tool may take several minutes.
Please wait until the progress bar has moved completely to the right.
In the window “Nero General Clean Tool” click the “Exit” button as soon as the erasing procedure is completed.
Reboot your computer. The Nero 8 CleanTool has removed all Nero entries from your computer.
if you install nero 9.2.6.0 before on your PC just remove it. and conitnue the following steps
1. install nero 9 with this serial:
8M01-249K-1T0E-3A1A-C7AA-MUZ3-8EL4-2U9W
2. close any running nero application and start the original betamaster keygen (download links below)
3. first you have to select the license type to "Site", and press buttons called "Remove all Nero serials", "Reset white list", "Reset extra codes", "Use extra codes" (as shown in the picture)
4. in the product line select the first ("Nero 9"), and click the button called "Add to white list". Probably a warning message pops up but DO NOT CARE for it. then select the second from the product line and do the same... (You have to do this for all product, from the "Nero 9" to the "Nero Media Home 4 Essentials")
5. if you done everything, exit the keygen, start Nero ControlCenter 4, and see license tab. you should have the site serials listed, just like in the first picture.
6. exit the ControlCenter, then start Nero Recode (or any Nero product that needs Patent Activation) to test that we have an activated Nero
7. you get a license window, just tick the agreement and click OK
8. In Nero Recode, click "Recode DVDs and Videos to Nero DIgital"; you can see there are no activation windows or anything else, so we activated our Nero successfully.
i downloaded the nero 8 trail version from the net but it needs a serial key to activate please send me the serial key for the activation and aslo tell me how can i crack it to make it full version
Every time I try to burn a DVD with Nero 8 vision I get a notice that says Patent activation and not all licenses have been activated. Can you please help.
