Ipad 1st generation hardware is to weak for iOs 6 as far as i know. As far as i know You will be able to get Ios 6 on it only by jailbreaking it, but it will be slow...

What do you mean by blank? The site itself or the whole ipad? I suspect that it is a flashdriven website and iOs is incompatible with flash.
