I have never used an IBM Wheelwriter 3500 in the past. There are all kinds of codes being used and I want to eliminate all of them and return to basic "factory" keyboard. How do I do this?

The WW15 does not have a recallable memory, it has a reprint memory that will repeat what you have JUST typed, code reprt top left kry on the keyboard will activate if you want a full memory get a WW5 or 6.

On the l. side of the keyboard there are keys labeled store, play & delete. Press & hold store then type an address 01 thru 99 release store and type whatever you want. Upon completion press store again. To play it back press play and the address, to clear delete and address.

On the L. side of the keyboard there are 3 keys store, play and delete.

To store hold code and press store type in 01-99 for an address, rel keys, type info. when complete press store.
To play press play and the address 01-99 to print.
To delete press del. and address.

If cleaning and oiling the shaft doesn't work, the carrier motor is probably bad. Is there any noise when you hit return?

First look inside the typewriter for forgien objects and debris, Then put some libhe oil (WD40 works well) on the shaft that the print head slides on.
