The message flashing says 'door' what do I do?

i beleve your door interlock is fautly
or the wiring too it can overheat and cook
so youll need a new one from smeg uk
and check out the connector for any issues

Door not closing properly. Hinges may need adjusting. The door switches are very sensitive

The door is not locked properly.
Open and close the door again and press the "start reload" button (play and pause button). If necessary, open the washing machine door, remove some of the cothing items and then push the door closed again. You can also try switching the washing machine off and on again, setting the programme and then starting the programme.

hi i had the same problem clean the door seal then use some disilled malt vinegar on a 90 wash then clean your filter out then use some bleach with your washing powder on 90 wash clean your filter then you should be all good then as that worked for me

try taking the soap dispenser draw out a give it a thorough clean inside and on the underneath of the drawer, then clean inside the machine where the drawer fits into. Sometimes a build up of detergent/softener can cause this.

yes, 2 of them. front of the aly trunking on top of the drum. just press the little ceramic centers and it will work again, done mine 3 or 4 times now, bit annoying to be honest lol

I have a whirlpool duet washer i can't retrieve the model number because the door is locked but the dryer which is the match to the washer is model number GEW9200LW. My question is that when I hit the control button then start, a muttled beep will sound not allowing the door to open. I get an error message of DL then it flashes to F? Any help?

i have a candy activa cm1 146. no matter what i do the stop light is always flashing. Ive emptied the machine, turned it off at the mains, checked the waste pipe and currently trying to empty the filter, whilst the light is flashing it will not work on any programs???

Switch machine off at the wall and leave off for 20 secs. Open the door. Switch back on again and close door firmly, giving the door handle an extra hard push. Should be o.k.
