I assume you say register you mean cash register, depending on model. most small register have small ink rollers that snap in right up where the small printwheels are. Some print in black and red and some print just black. Also some bigger registers have ribbons that drop in place. Also make sure that you do not have a thermal printer and you have plain paper in it. This will not print. Thermal printer needs thermal paper....

Why won't my se-s700 print with ink? Feed key works, everything else still works, just seems like I'm out of ink?

That machine does not use ink from the till.It only works with a thermal paper that comes with inbuilt ink. Just make sure you are using the right paper and insert it properly , it only prints on one side

How do i install ink cartridge in royal alpha 1000ml

There is NO ink in your cash register.

Your cash register has a thermal printer that prints receipts for the
customer or a journal tape. Use 2¼ inch (57.5 mm) wide standard thermal register paper. Do not use bond paper because the register does not use a ribbon or ink for printing.

How do you replace ink in javelin cs100

Remove the lid from the LHS of the register (where the paper goes and print out comes out.) There is a tiny GREY, rectangular piece of places that reads PULL UP o he LHS - sitting over the top of the number keys. Pull it up firmly and you will see underneath that there is a tiny little ink roller. I sin\mply re-ink this roller and replace it.

It will not print in black ink.I replaced the cartridge and it registers full, but still will not print.

Not a solution but I have exactly the same issue - brand new HP ink installed like you it registers full (never ran empty before replacing) I'm just about to strip it down now. I'll re-post here if I find anything.

Cannot print with only one cartridge

The inkjet printers are designed to print wit BOTH cartridges installed. You cannot fool it to print with only one.

Royal Cash Register

Hi. There are several reasons for this.
The most common one is not replacing the ink roller on time. If the old roller had felt falling off of it, then it will block up the drum.
The second is re-inking the roller. If you do this, you end up with a sticky mess and a lot of smudging.
Other than that, pieces of paper stuck in the paper path are common.
You should inspect the drum again. This is the little group of rubber numbers that spin around and hit the paper while printing. You will usually find sticky muck on the numbers, and you may have to clean them several times. You need to turn the drum as you clean it. Try to use the gears at the side if they are visible. A dry Q-tip is best, as alcohol may damage the thin rubber. Try cleaning the drum again, and look for any improvement. If itgets better on some numbers, then you are probably on the right track. Also, if you could send me a picture of the bad print, that may help also.

Good luck.

Ink cartridge light keeps blinking BEWARE SPAM NUMBER 1-800-532-4187

you need to print only in black if that is all the ink you have, and also you need to remove the color cartridge as it still registers in the printer as able to be used, although it is empty or near so. Did you remove the tape over the print head fron the new ink cartridge? Do a print head alignment, or use the toolbox icon to tell the printer that you just replaced the cartridge. Some HP models chip the ink cartridges so even a refill wont register as a full tank and the printer wont print. chip needs to be reset (difficult) or just replaced with a new cartridge.
