SOURCE: Black and Decker corded drill won't tighten around a bit.

the chuck sounds like it is bad or maybe stuck from rust, what you can try and do is spray some WD-40 on the jaws and then try and holding the collar with a glove and run the drill SLOWLY in forward/reverse and see if it loosens up if not you will need a new one.

Hi, either the carby is flooding and requires a carby kit or the spark arrestor or outlet in the muffler is blocked. Hope this helps, regards Phil.

I purchased a Black & Decker DR260B drill to drill masonry but there's no info in manual about brick. Can I use this drill to drill holes in brick mortar?

This corded drill has enough power to drill normal brick masonry without issue as long as you're using a masonry bit.

Model DR230 corded drill...worked one time...now will not do anything. Checked power and plug...will not make any noise.

I suspect that the drill trigger has malfunctioned. I had a variable speed drill that the trigger went, and the replacement from Black and Decker cost more than the drill was worth.
