How can I get my mail through my app

Sounds like you need to do a hard reboot. From Google:
***
Here's how to perform a hard reboot:
- Hold down the Power and Home buttons at the same time for close to 10 seconds.
- Ignore the Slide to Power Off bar across the top of the screen when it appears and just keep holding the two buttons until you see the iPad screen go black and then see the Apple logo on the screen as it restarts.

Hope this helps!

Ipad has voice over only when turned on..blank screen

Triple click the home button. Then double tap the VoiceOver off button. This should allow the device to return to normal operation. Then you can reset by pressing and holding both buttons (power and home) until it resets if you need to.

My ipad will no longer auto rotate. What do I do?

There is a switch over the volume buttons on the edge of the iPad. It can be used to lock the rotate function. Check that this switch is off

My iPad has a lock on it beside the battery sign how I can remove it so I can send emails

You probably locked the screen rotation,
to fix this:

  1. Rotate iPad so the display is in the desired orientation.
  2. Double-click the Home button to display recently used apps.
  3. Flick from left to right along the bottom of the screen.
  4. Tap the Screen Rotation Lock button on the bottom left of the screen.
  5. The lock will disappear

IPad shows blank black screen & won't turn off ~ how do I fix?

Try reseting the iPad by holding the home and power buttons simultaneously until the iPad completely shuts down and the Apple logo appears.

Once the Apple logo appears you can release the buttons. If this does not work, you may need to connect your iPad to your computer and do a factory restore using iTunes.
