The F84 code is a communication error between the user interface panel of the microwave and the main control board. This could be the result of a problem with the touch panel's interface board, the main control board or the wiring between them. (The wiring harness can come loose or have a bit of corrosion at the connectors.) The usual recommendation is to check the wiring at the interface board then replace the interface board first. If that doesn't solve the problem, you have to replace the control panel.

If you add a comment with the model number of the unit, I may be able to help you find the parts your unit needs.

I hope this helps.

I have the same problem, the model number is EW30MC65JS2. Is the interface panel accessible without having to take out the whole unit from the cabinet? Is there a illustration available showing how this board is accessible? Is the main control board also accessible without having to bring out the whole unit? When I start the microwave the fan does come on but the light doesn’t and then the error code comes up in a few seconds, could there potentially be another issue and if so what could it be?

https://www.partselect.com/Models/EW30MC... has several relevant parts diagrams. You need to get to the top and sides of the unit to access the main control board. I hope this helps.

Electrolux wall mount micro wave oven combo doesn't work

Good Morning Friend,

I understand that your Electrolux wall mount microwave oven combo is not working. I see that the oven is working, but the microwave is not. I suggest resetting your appliance, by either unplugging it or shutting the power off at your home's circuit breaker, for 3-5 minutes. Restore power and try any setting. I ask that you please follow up with a comment on the post, at your convenience, to advise if further troubleshooting is needed or if your appliances status has changed successfully. If further troubleshooting is needed, please provide me with the model number of your air conditioner. Hope this is helpful.

-Best Regards-

Our oven's glass plate is broken i want new glass plate

After some research I discovered that Electrolux is the parent company of the common brand Frigidaire.
From the looks of it, the best place to order the part you need is from Sears Parts Direct. While there were several other parts companies which popped up, Sears seems the most legit, and the prices they advertise were actually cheaper than the other sites.
The part you need has the manufacturer product code: 5304461145
If you look at the schematic (http://c.searspartsdirect.com/lis_png/PLDM/R0908182-00001.png) you will see the tray labeled as part #45. This code matches the last two digits of the product code, so I'm fairly confident that this is the correct part.
The part is currently priced at $135.43 without tax or shipping.
You can purchase the part online at this link:http://www.searspartsdirect.com/partsdirect/part-number/Electrolux-Parts/Microwave-Parts/5304461145/0022/628/Model-E30MO65GSSB/1412/0123100?keySuffixId=&productTypeId=&searchModelNumber=E30MO65GSSB&blt=06&subCompDesc=OVEN/CABINET

Panasonic NIE1880 BP SC80310019

Service Code F84:

These codes may be triggered by either excessive heat within the oven or poor grounding of either the temp sensor or the controller (DPU) board. Check the following:
a) Clogged air filter (not applicable to OCS models)
b) Obstruction of the exhaust duct or insufficient ventilation
c) Defective thermal sensor (should read 30 – 70 kohm in room temperature)
d) Grounding of the thermal sensor (possible oxidation)
e) Poor connection (oxidation) at CN4 connector (PRO-1 models only)
f) Poor or no ground at the controller (DPU) board – ensure that all screws securing the board are in place
g) Missing screw(s) that secure the escutcheon to the frame (OCS models only)
h) If all steps above check OK, the error(s) may be caused by defective controller (DPU) board
