You will find the codes in the manual
SEARCHING FOR YOUR CODE
If your device does not respond to the remote control after trying all codes
listed for your brand, or if your brand is not listed at all, try searching for
your code.
NOTE: Before performing a code search for a DVD player or a VCR, turn on the device and
insert the required media.
For example, to search for a code for your TV:
1. On the remote control, press TV once.
2. Press and hold SET until the LED (red light) blinks twice,
then release SET.
3. Enter 9 - 9 - 1.The LED will blink twice.
4. Aim the remote control at the TV and slowly alternate
between pressing POWER and TV. Stop when the TV turns off
(after pressing POWER). If the device does not have a Power
key, you can substitute another function, such as digits 0 ~ 9 ,
CH, or PLAY).
NOTE: In the search mode, the remote control will send IR codes from
its library to the selected device, starting with the most popular code
first.
5. To lock in the code, press and release SET.The LED will
blink twice.
6. To search for the codes of your other devices, repeat steps
1 through 5, but substitute the appropriate device key for
the device you are searching for.

Universal remotes rarely fully work with these type of units. Call Orion customer service 800 289 0980 to price an original remote.
SOURCE: I need a 3 digit cose to setup my CHUNGHOP RM-230E
1. There is no such thing as a 'universal' remote.
2. If the remote's design is earlier than the device you wish to control, no remote can be trusted to have the correct/full function code set for the newer device.
Since the manufacturers reinvent the code set for each new controlled device, the remotes become very quickly obsolete.
Buying a 'learning' remote gives you at least some chance of using your newly acquired device with it after feeding it the codes from the original.
I downloaded the RM -230E manual while responding and I don't even see Sansui on the code list at all so they may have introduced their DVD player too recently for it to even be included in the code table of this remote.
I have the Chunghop RM-L988 and my orphan TV had to be programmed via IR but that works better than others I've had and this model has an 11 device capability. I'm only using it with three, two of which were contained in the factory tables, the third was done with the learning function.
The only flaw I have found after two months of use, is the sloppy mounting of the IR LED which is pushed down onto the board inside and has to be aimed below the controlled device to work consistently.
This versatile model has around 5,000 codes programmed and with the learning function won't become another 'for the drawer' for some time to come.
Under $20.
This manual is from May of 2009 and may differ from yours but, as mentioned, no Sansui:
