How do i get the camera settings to work with a Mac Safari browser

I get the message "The browser is only available in JPEG mode"
which means there must be a setting on the camera that will allow me to see the video on my macintosh computer's Safari browser. Can you help?

Go to settings from the web page. Select camera / common / JPEG. Now it is in JPEG mode.

Safari on my mac will not wok at all. They kept sending me the message to upgrade and when I did it shut down completely and it never sends me the info to my email so I can get it working again.

Need to know what model your laptop is and what operating system. However, here is a workaround:
You should be able to access the Internet through your ISP, without accessing your email account. Try it with Google. if you can got into the internet, download another browser, such as Firefox. Try accessing your email account from Firefox. You may have exceeded your log-in tries with Safari (3 times wrong and you're locked out) so enter a new password and remember it or write it down. Or, go to the library and try to access your email...again change your password and write it down. This will prove your email is still active. Your operating system may not support a later browser...my OS 10.4.11 on an old Mac Pro can't be updated.
Power PCs won't run an OS later than 10.5 (Leopard) Try updating your OS, then try for a later browser.

Want to delete search history

Which web browser do you use? In Firefox, click the icon that looks like a clock and then click "Clear recent history..." Scroll down and select "Everything" and then click "Clear Now." If you use another browser, look through the Options or Settings for similar wording.

Another option - if you use Windows or a Mac - is to use CCleaner. It's free and available at http://www.piriform.com/ccleaner - Do not click the Buy Now button. Click Download Now to get the free version. Once it's downloaded and installed, open the program. Select the Cleaner option on the left (brush icon) and you'll see a lot of check boxes. If you have Internet Explorer, check Temporary Internet Files and History. If you use another browser, click the Application tab, find your browser and check Internet Cache and Internet History (Chrome and Firefox options). If you want to see what's available to be deleted, click Analyze (at the bottom). If you just want to delete without checking, click Run Cleaner.

How to view full screen browser

In short, it's not built in to Safari. You can either install a plug-in for Safari or try a different web browser such as Firefox or Camino.

Some plugins that may help:
  1. Saft (http://haoli.dnsalias.com/Saft/index.html) adds a new preference pane in Safari called Saft, and two extra menu items under Safari menu, just above the "Preferences...", called "Full Screen" and "Max Screen".
  2. Megazoomer (http://ianhenderson.org/megazoomer.html) will install for any program (not just Safari for web browsing) and allows you to put any window full screen.
Other browsers to use instead of safari include:
  1. Firefox (http://www.apple.com/downloads/macosx/internet_utilities/mozillafirefox.html)
  2. Camino (http://caminobrowser.org/)
I believe both of those browsers allow for full screen functions.

Cannot set "HI" Mode to shoot TIFF Images

In order to shoot "HI" TIFF images first set the Image Size option to either "5M 2592x1944" or "3:2 2592x1728." Next, choose "HI" as the Image Quality option. "HI" is only available in one of the manual exposure modes (P, S, A or M) and is not available in the "Auto" shooting mode. If "HI" is selected and the camera is switched to "Auto" the Image Quality will automatically switch to "FINE" mode and a JPEG image will be recorded. Additionally, "HI" is only available in "S" Single frame Continuous shooting.
