Lost codes I have a universale remote I lost the code sheet. The brand is (Quantum FX REM 600) I need a code to program my TV. The name of the TV is(Sansui)
Then press and hold SETUP until the TV key blinks twice, then release the SETUP key.
Using the number pad, enter 9-9-1. The TV key will blink twice.
Aim the remote control at the TV and slowly alternate between pressing Power and TV. Stop when the TV turns off after pressing the POWER key. This means that a working code has been found.
Press the SETUP key once to lock in the code. The TV key will blink twice.

Codes to check with Daewoo brand TVs are 0038.0029,0059,0072,0019. If you wish to get more codes to Dawoo brand TVs with other brands remote controls, check this link. Not mind the brand of the remote control. Only look for codes for Daewoo with its code list.
The reason your universal remote won't control advanced functions is because it's not meant to. Universal remotes are intended to be a convenience and usually only control the basic funtions like channel, volume and mute. Sometimes a higher end will do some other things, but you will need to get an original remote for your brand and model of TV to do everything you want to do. Sorry I can't give you better news.
