When i insert my 4Gig SDHC card into my Panasonic DMC LS2 camera , it gives a card error message , please check SD card ! What do i do ?

Your camera will accept a maximum SD card capacity of 2GB. It simply isn't capable of handling anything of a larger capacity and in particular is incompatible with the more technically advanced SDHC cards.

Your fix is to either replace your camera with a later model or to stick to using SD cards with a maximum 2GB capacity.

At any time did you insert the card into your computer to "have a look" and then remove the card without using the "safely remove hardware" function? You may now need to download the pics from your card to the computer, then format the card in the camera to get it to work properly again.

Lumix® digital camera storage path

Unlike 35mm cameras that store images on film, Lumix® Digital Cameras store images on SD Memory Cards, which make sharing and storing your pictures easy and convenient. You simply insert an SD Memory Card into the camera, take pictures until the card is full, and then you can transfer the pictures onto a compatible PC. Once you saved all your pictures, you can erase the card and start all over again.
