Check and replace damaged component/s at its horizontal scan output section circuit. Check the LOT (Line Output Transformer) too for damage. Replace the horizontal scan output transistor. Check the input voltage to LOT. If the voltage is absent check the feeder resistor; if any. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here. Pull up older posts.

Thanks to this forum, I was able to confidently contact Sharp and get my TV fixed.
My 32" LCD had the same problem (sound but no picture) and was out of warranty, however I phoned Sharp UK and suggested that it was a manufacturing defect rather than component failure and should be repaired free of charge - which they did!!

TRY THIS, open Monitor , look inside the PC BOARD for a burn solder or cold solder around the area where you see a transformer , re solder any suspicious solder and try again, hope this helps , please rate this solution , AJ

I will have to take a stab at this at this code is not listed in the service manual. The UC codes deal with Counterfeiting! Either the user wanted to try and copy money or they copied something that had the colors very close to money so the only way to fix this is to have an authorized dealer call Sharp and have the boards ordered.
