This ASUS C300 screen is positional--it only works when is almost closed. Can I just re-connect something?

Hold VOL UP and then press POWER for about 3 seconds.

If connected to a computer it should make a noise that it has a new device connected. The TF screen will turn on but it will be black

That should get it to do something then just press hold power to turn off then press power to turn back on.

Sounds like a faulty switch.

Try cleaning RAM, if still the same, have some to look at it

I would recommend Logitech C300 1.3 megapixel or C600 2 megapixel at $90 - $130 Australian Dollars. They are both designed to clip to the top of your laptop screen and provide top quality video. You can spend a lot more on night vision cams and better quality but for general use im sure they will keep you satisfied. And no i dont work for logitech i have the cheaper model of what i just said and i chat with family worldwide and that suits me fine.

It is a OS problem. your notebook is not booting in OS. so i advised ot you pls reinstalled the OS.

could be that the rubber band is need of replacement, take it in to radioshack and they will get you the right piece, it should cost you a few dollars

whenever this happens to my camera there is usually something covering the lens, i haven't pressed the 'ok' button or my batteries are going flat/not very good. hope this helps!
