Connected to cable box sound no picture reboot left tv on 3 hrs. fine. turned off. 2 hours later turned on now no pic just sound. When the tv is cold no pic. when warm pic. ???

Sounds like a surge to me. Why not give Vizo call to see if anyone else is reporting the same problems. It's a fantastic tv.

Hello Townsend, It sounds like a problem called blooming, or you are having a problem with focus control which are signs of a problem in the horizontal and high voltage section of the tv in the case of plasma TV this would be the excitation circuit. I would suggest that you take the set to a TV repair shop to effect repairs.

Check all ur tv inputs cables connections from the back of the tv,for like AV components and or HDMI cables for losed connections or damages cables wires.If u have cable boxes,satalite boxes or telicom compannies boxes and it plug in 24/7?Yes?Unplugs,replugs those boxes and the tv also back about an hour later.For those boxes to reboot and upgraded it softwares and the tv to do a resetting itself back to the tv factory settings.Than goes into the tv menu,go to the tv Audio Settings,to do a whole resetting to all the audio settings back to the tv factory Audio Settings.These steps,will help for ur tv to have and to get it audio sound back again.

Tries unplug,replug the cable or satalite boxes back like about an hour later,for those pay boxes to reboot and upgraded it software,tv now might work again,but if still have the same problems.The tv X or Y buffers boards are dead or both.These 2 long buffers boards are to the right and to the left of the tv to provide the tv Plasma screen panel to have a backlight to produce a picture on the tv Plasma screen panel.Try website like Ebay.com to buy those 2 long refurbishes X or Y or both long buffers boards for the replacement.

Tries unplug,replug tv and pay boxes back like about an hour later.Now tv and cable or satalite boxes are resetting itself back to the tv factory setting and cable or satalite boxes by rebooting and those pay boxes and updating it softwares.Now the the tv should work right again.If not call ur pay tvs providers get a another pay signals boxs.

Tries to reset the tv back to the factory setting.Unplug the tv and the cable box too,replug it back about an hour later.Let the cable box reboot and upgrade it softwares.Go into the tv Menu.Go to the PICTURE setting.Go down to the reset,to reset the Tuner board,this will reset the the Tuner board,back to the factory setting.This should solved ur tv problems,not than,the Tuner board is defective,must be replaced.

The PS3 is connected to your TV via one of the inputs on the backside of the set? If so, the input you used can be selected from the remote or from your menu buttons on the physical TV. The remote will have a button labeled video(video inputs) and by depressing it you can scroll through different selections ie... Svideo, TV, colorstream 1 & 2, HDMI(which is probbaly the best, but you will need an HDMI cable)

I have a 42" LG LCD TV and just experienced this today. Watching cable, then the screen went to black, but audio continued. I pressed the guide button on my remote and pic came on with my guide menu. But then went to black again 10sec later and has remained that way for nearly an hour. Tried switching off both cable box and TV, disconnecting and reconnecting cables, but no luck. Finally unplugged mains, waited a minute, then turned back on. Everything seems normal now after the reboot. Phew.
