This sounds like a timing problem.
It is too far retarded, and needs advancing a couple of thou.
There you go:)

    Late entry:
OLD FUEL. Today's modern lead free Methanol fuel "SUCKS"
Besides the reduced fuel mileage (6 out of 7 vehicles in the family) It also decays rapidly destroying the carburetors of small engines.
If your gas is more then a few weeks old during the summer months, it's probably shot. Empty your tank and carefully mix new fuel. Try starting and running your wacker again. You have nothing to loose. Worse case you have 2 gallons of fuel so you can do the neighbors yard too.
I thought all the new Stile engines had electronic ignitions anyway. There are no timing adjustments. If new fuel doesn't help it may be time to learn how to replace the carb gaskets. The fuel pump is part of the gasket and the NEW MODERN SUPER FUEL causes them to get hard and they don't pump. If you aren't into working on engines , take it to your local Stile repairman (NOT the local back garage fix all guy). He might be able to do it but the Stihl guy knows how to do it correctly. I do my own but I know my Stihl guy very well. )Woods Cold Storage, Woolwine, VA (I hope the plug is ok with FixYA I am not related to or work for any one in the small engine industry. This is a plug for a small county guy that does excellent work.)

What is the setting or turns on the jet screw

both screws all the way in then back out 1 1/2 - 2 turns
hold at full throttle and start and keep at full throttle
adjust the screw closest to the air cleaner until the engine runs at full rpm easily
no slowly let off the throttle until and idle is reached and adjust the other needle ( closest to the butterfly) until it idles easily
adjust idle speed using the screw on the end of the cable

HUSQVARNA 128LD WILL START RUN FOR A FEW SECONDS AND DIE.

You need to adjust your idle screws. Start at 1 and a half turns out for High and Low then go from there.

Stihl saw runs but won't idle.

The paper pumps get stiff and do not pump fuel very well. It's the new Ethanol gas that is the Carb Killers. You need a rebuild kit not just disassemble and clean.
You have IDLE ADJUST Low Speed adjust and High speed adjust. Low and High speed adjust have nothing to do with Idle.

Stihl FS200 repair manual

I just saw this deal on the Fs200 Stihl Brushcutter. Equipped with a Zama c1qs51 carb. Junk the carb. Go to a stihl dealer and buy a three screw chainsaw type carb with a high low and idle screw. The c1qs51 is junk. The three school carb will put an end to your worries. Of course change your fuel filter naturally. I guarantee this will fix the thing. I own an Fs200 and Fs250.

Carb settings mixture jets on a homelite weedeater st155

ther is no set setting but to get it to run so it can be adjusted. lightly close the high off then open the low about two turns. try to start if starts slowly adust the low screw till it runs normal with the choke all the way off. then start to add throttle while turning the high out till regiured rpms ar reached with no misses. this takes awhile even fo a seasoned mech and may require several attempts

No power fs66 stihl weedeater

Hi When you cleaned the muffler out did you also clean the carbon out of the port on the cylinder as this can be blocked as well. Also you will have to retune the carby, There should be 2 screws 1 for low speed marked l on the carby body and 1 marked h for high speed to start with they should be set at 1 & 1/2 turns out from closed the low speed you set at an idle and the high speed you set at full throttle. Hope this helps.
