Want to send a free text I am with vodafone - Vodafone Cell Phones

some companies don't accept text from other companies directly. sometimes you can connect by sending to <telephone number>@vodaphone.com for example.

You can only use Whatsapp to send free messages to other Whatsapp users. After logging into Whatsapp, you'll have a list of other Whatsapp users (from your contacts) in "Favs". From here, you can send free messages, pictures, videos, voice notes, etc to them. If you send messages from outside this application, your network provider might charge you for it. Do remember, you'll need a data account (or wireless network) to use Whatsapp.

my phone wont send or recive picture messages

you have to change the msg center no which is avillable from the oparator

call the customer service of your service provider ( AT&T,Vodafone,Verizon etc)....they will set up message center number on your phone , the one that you have might be incorrect...your mobile operator will send you sim updates that will refresh the settings ....and then you will get the text message options

Hi my wife has the same phone and she also had problems with picture messaging.and i suspect you are unable to send or receive pictures via bluetooth and it was the configuration settings also with vodafone, get them to send it again and tell them again its the multimedia configuration settings you need as it took a couple of goes to get someone helpful to send the correct settings hopefully once they do it correctly you should be up and running good luck !

You have to use the message center number from the network provider.
You can only use one network at a time, to use a second network you'll have to change the message center number.
IE. Vodafone msg center number 12345678 to send Vodafone txt.
T-mobile msg center number 87654321 to send T-mobile txt.

just follow the instructions carefully and choose every setting to the proper carrier and phone. Also make sure you read everything carefully. Cause they are gonna send you the setting via Text and this text will configure your setting on your phone automaticly...
