STOP>>>>>Check your oil, I believe you will find it over full and have the smell of gas to it. If this is the case, your float is not working in your carb and the fuel is filling your crankcase.
Check the float in the carburetor and the fuel shut off solenoid on the carburetor. Fuel can get in the crankcase when the engine is not running and push oil out the filler tube.
It's highly possible that it's either in the carburetor (something holding the float down allowing fuel to fill the carburetor and over flow draining into the cylinders, possible porous float or debris between needle and seat.) Or it could be drawing or sucking it in through the fuel pump vacuum line between the engine and fuel pump. I would be looking into these two areas.
sounds lie it's starving for gas. Does this engine have a fuel pump or is the gas gravity fed??? Some engines this size do have fuel pumps. I'd also take the bowl off the carburetor and check the Jet.
